M.I.A is a British rapper singer, songwriter, record producer, and moron of Sri Lankan Tamil descent. In the last ten years the relatively unknown rapper has had only three singles hit the Top 40 Billboard Charts. Now with an obscene gesture and an expletive she's all over the news.
Can M.I.A take advantage of the publicity by releasing creative records? No, she doesn't have the talent, when the buzz over her controversial action dies down, she will once again be missing in action from the news and the record charts.
Madonna gave M.I.A the opportunity to perform before the biggest audience of her life, and she betrayed Madonna by stealing her thunder. Instead of everybody talking about Madonna's terrific performance, all the buzz is about the rapper's juvenile behavior.
M.I.A also betrayed the NFL and the American public; the controversial rapper was aware that the Super Bowl is family entertainment and that her antics were inappropriate in such a venue. This loser can flip the bird all she wants to when she performs in dives and clubs before dozens of her fans.
