Born on December 12th, 1970, in Catskill Mountains, New York, Academy Award winning actress Jennifer Connelly grew up mostly in Brooklyn, New York, where she began her modeling career. She trained in improvisation and classical theater in New York with a number of top instructors, paving the way for her early accomplishments as an actor with rising skills, along with her stunning beauty.

After print work and later commercial work in Japan, Jennifer moved in to Hollywood with film, after being spotted by renown director Sergio Leone which led to her earlier horror and thriller roles that would follow often later in her career. Highly notable roles Jennifer landed include cult hits 'Labyrinth,' 'Dark City.' and 'Requiem for A Dream.' The big budget film 'Hulk' followed, and later, award winning films 'House of Sand and Fog,''Little Children,' and 'A Beautiful Mind,' for which Jennifer won a Golden Globe and Oscar as Best Supporting Actress. Other notable films starring Jennifer include 'Blood Diamond, 'The Day the Earth Stood Still,' and 'He's Just Not that Into You,' among many more.

Known for her dark, moody roles with characters that have deep, emotional turmoil, Jennifer Connelly is an actress not only of striking beauty, but also poise and class. With a penetrating look in her deep eyes- named by many magazines over the decades the world's most beautiful woman- Jennifer Connelly is one of the few stars who have also remained grounded, and not caught up in many nonsenses that some other stars engage in. While some of her other brunette bombshell peers get punished for their crazy antics, Jennifer Connelly, who speaks fluent French and Italian, is busy -when she's not acting, modeling, or with her family and children- sporting outdoors, drawing, or studying philosophy and quantum physics. Talented, elegant, and with a look that is out of this world, Jennifer Connelly is without a doubt one of Hollywood's Top 10 Hottest Actresses of our time.
