New Health Site HellaWella.com Launches, Matching Well-Informed Information with Humor and Personality
NEW YORK - (BUSINESS WIRE) - It may have a goofy name, but start-up website HellaWella (www.hellawella.com)
is serious about promoting healthy living. At least in terms of its
mission. In delivery, "serious" might be a slight overstatement, as the
free website and weekly newsletter is taking a fun, youthfully energetic
approach to helping consumers discover the latest in health and wellness
- and to do so on the cheap.
In categories like "Vitals," "Sweat," "Eats," "Green," and
"House," the site offers everything from thoroughly researched reporting
on the latest health issues to celebrity interviews, expert health tips
and product recommendations. Add to this some cheeky, colorful
infographics and regular roundups of alternative fitness trends like mud
runs and trampolining, and you'll quickly see that this isn't your
father's health site.
"We wanted to take the stuffiness and the holier-than-thou out of
the healthy lifestyle culture and really have some fun with it," said
Darren Ursino, Creative Director at HellaWella. "A lot of people
perceive healthy living as a luxury, or something they would do if only
they had the time or the money. We're showing them how to bring healthy

is marking its official debut with a campaign called "Live it
HellaWella," in which the brand is encouraging friends and followers to
share how they "Live it HellaWella" by submitting unique and quirky
demonstrations of their healthy living activities.
The "Live it HellaWella" campaign is a reinforcement of the
HellaWella philosophy, which focuses on taking control of and
championing the best in everyday life, including your health, your body,
your plate, and your environment. Beginning February 2, participants can
submit examples of how they "Live it HellaWella" to the HellaWella
Facebook page. The most creative and original entries
will receive prizes and will be featured on the HellaWella Facebook page.
