Missouri Man Aims to Stomp Out Testicular Cancer 1 T-Shirt at a Time

Nixa, MO, February 01, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The pink ribbon campaign has taken the world by storm, and has done wonders for breast cancer awareness. “It's a great campaign, and was part of my inspiration to start this company, but I think men still feel a little left out,” says Jeremy Pinegar – co-founder of The Testicular Cancer Research Foundation (TesticularCancerResearchFoundation.org) and it's sister site BallCancerSucks.com.

With between 7500-8500 new positive diagnosis this year alone, Testicular Cancer is indeed a cause for concern. If caught early enough, there's a 90-100% survival rate. “That's where we come in,” says Pinegar. “We want to get people talking about this and make people realize this isn't taboo. “This is life-or-death serious.”

Pinegar has launched two websites to aid in his cause:

TesticularCancerResearchFoundation.org – Its goal is to raise awareness and educate the masses, including step-by-step instructions for men to do their own initial self-exam.

BallCancerSucks.com – Takes a light-hearted approach to a very serious issue by selling high-quality t-shirts with a comedic angle.

100% of all proceeds are donated to the Cancer Research Center at Washington University in St. Louis.
