The X Factor didn't deliver the blockbuster ratings promised by Simon Cowell, and he reacted by firing almost everyone. This wasn't a tweaking or a fine-tuning, it was a virtual bloodbath.
The only major stars left on the struggling show are Cowell and L.A. Reid. The American public has grown weary of Cowell's unpleasant personality, we can only take so much bile and sarcasm. As for record producer Reid, he has all the wit and charm of a constipated accountant. Go back to your day job Reid, where you are behind the scenes and not boring the hell out of viewers.
An established hit like "American Idol" can survive a game of musical chairs, a dud like "X-Factor" can't!
Cowell should have put The "X-Factor" out of its misery, and cancel the damn show. I don't even remember who won, all I recall is that the show traumatized little girl contestants.
We love Paula, we think Nicole is sizzling hot, and Steve is a cool dude, but Cowell and Reid stink to high heaven. Not only will I not watch The "X-Factor" next season, but I will do everything within my power to dissuade anyone from watching the contemptible program.
