ADTRAN Connects Patients and Providers for Pro-Care Home Health
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - ADTRAN,
Inc. (NASDAQ:ADTN), a leading provider of next-generation networking
solutions, today announced that Pro-Care Home Health has deployed
ADTRAN's NetVanta 7100 unified communications platform across its
office locations in nine West Central Kentucky counties. Looking for the
ability to create a centralized phone system for its five Pro-Care Home
Health offices and the offices of its sister company, King Health Care,
the company turned to ADTRAN for its ability to provide multiple data
and voice functions all from an affordable single platform. Using the
NetVanta 7100, the company is more efficient in its customer scheduling
and has reduced interoffice communication costs by fifty percent.
Pro-Care Home Health needed a new communication system that gave them
the ability to perform centralized scheduling from one main call intake
location. The NetVanta 7100 supports a multi-site SIP network that
allows Pro-Care Home Health to link remote offices together and provide
direct dial access between their sites. The NetVanta 7100 also enables
employees to transfer their phone number to whatever remote location
they are working at for the day making it easier for customers to reach
their health care provider.
"During our evaluation process for a new phone system, we looked at
several products and ADTRAN's NetVanta 7100 not only provided all the
features we needed, but was also a very cost-effective solution," said
Kevin Bailey, IT Manager for Pro-Care Home Health. "I have used ADTRAN
products before so I know the quality and reliability is high and that
my network won't go down."
The NetVanta 7100 offers outstanding business value and simplifies VoIP
communications for small to medium businesses. ADTRAN has integrated
into the NetVanta 7100 all the voice and data networking functions into
a single platform and is the ideal solution for businesses that have up
to 100 stations at each location. The web-based administration tools
also enables Pro-Care Home Health's IT department to quickly and easily
perform administrative tasks and customize the platform as the business
grows and expands.
"Health care businesses are constantly looking for ways to make it
easier for patients to schedule their appointments and stay in touch
with their health care providers. The NetVanta 7100 unified
communications platform has enabled Pro-Care Home Health to do just
that," said Chris Thompson, Senior Product Manager for ADTRAN's
Enterprise Networks Division. "ADTRAN helps small and medium sized
businesses simplify the migration to VoIP with a single platform that
incorporates all of their communication needs and is completely
customizable to best serve their customer base. Whether the need is
replacing an old system or expanding to a new location, businesses will
quickly see a return on their investment and lower their overall cost of
ownership."
