CLARIFICATION of 2012 Rapid Refund Checks BOUNCE

MADISON, Miss. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - On January 13, 2012, All American Check Cashing issued a press release announcing that several checks issued by Tax Tree of Miami, Florida to customers of Instant Tax Service had returned. All American would like to issue the following CLARIFICATION.

In early January of this year, Instant Tax Service, a nationwide leader in the rapid advance tax refund industry was notified by Tax Tree of Miami, Florida, that an attempt to invade their banking institution had been identified and prevented. Instant Tax and Tax Tree moved quickly and decisively to prevent this attempted fraud from affecting its customers. However, as a result, there was a short delay in processing checks drawn on that Bank.

This event affected three checks cashed by All American. The three checks initially returned by the Bank were honored quickly when investigators reported that there was no misapplication of funds concerning them. We regret that the previous report may have left the impression that any checks were returned for insufficient funds, or that the problem was the fault of Instant Tax. Customers of both Instant Tax and All American can be assured that they will receive high quality service, and that the companies will stand behind their commitments.
