PowerNet Global Receives 2012 Medical Mutual Pillar Award for Community Service

The Pillar Award for Community Service, honors businesses of all types and sizes that make outstanding contributions to their community. Its purpose is to encourage a charitable environment, recognize creative efforts that make a difference and demonstrate the ties between the for-profit and nonprofit worlds.

PowerNet Global, founded on core values of spirituality, integrity, compassion, conviction, and flexibility, was recognized for its everyday practices that include sponsoring and participating in events that give back to the community, providing financial contributions to various causes, and encouraging employees to volunteer personal time with its Charitable PTO program.

The PowerNet Global Social Committee prepares a variety of events throughout the year to help support local charities and provide employees with opportunities for fun and fellowship. Organizations that PowerNet Global have made financial contributions to or participated in/hosted special events for in 2011 include the American Heart Association, City Gospel Mission, Crayons to Computers, Fairfield Food Pantry, Focas Ministries, Jobs Plus, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, PregnancyCare of Cincinnati, Race to Unity, and many more.
