WISeKey Launches WISeID Generation C at the Sixth Global Competitiveness Forum in Riyadh

WISeKey launches the WISeID special edition app designed for "Generation C" and coordinates its release with the participation of Carlos Moreira at the Sixth Annual Global Competitiveness Forum (GCF). Hundreds of business leaders, politicians, and intellectuals will converge in Riyadh from January 21-24 to take part in the GCF 2012 probing ideas around competitiveness.

Mr. Moreira, WISeKey Founder and CEO, will speak at the panel session "Generation C - Click, Connect, Communicate, Collaborate" which will discuss the future of digital connectivity and business dependence on the virtual world. Mr. Moreira will showcase WISeKey's WISeID, which creates a unique digital ID for an individual, like a passport to be used on the Internet.

WISeID 'Generation C' is designed to support the "digital natives" demographic, those who turn to the Internet instinctively and actively participate in social media where they contribute to discussions and share ideas. "Generation C" value their expanded universe, but they are also vigilant about maintaining control over their lives and their personal identifiable information (PII).

WISeID adds the fifth "C" for "Confidentiality" as the app's data encryption helps protect its owner's PII as they actively participate in the virtual world, on social networks, making electronic transactions and communications.
