China Tennis Star Li Na Returns to the Australian Open to Compete on Plexicushion(R) Prestige

The 2012 Australian Open marks the 5th consecutive year that the world-renowned Grand Slam has selected Plexipave's Plexicushion Prestige tennis surface.

Chinese star Li Na returns to the tournament and tennis surface that launched her onto the global stage last year. She is a trailblazer for China reaching the semi-finals at Melbourne Park in 2010 but then losing in last year's Grand Slam final. She has now rediscovered her form at the Plexicushion Australian Open lead up tournaments having reached the final round of last week's Sydney International after a difficult second half of 2011.

The Plexicushion surface provides the 29-year-old Li Na consistent playing characteristics and is compatible with her playing style. If she can win the deciding match of the Australian Open this year, she will further confirm her place as a genuine star in the world's most populous nation.
