Is Obama Administration Trampling US Bill of Rights and The Constitution?

This past week DHS (Dept of Homeland Security) officers armed with automatic weapons and K-9 dogs showed up unannounced at the Social Security Office in Leesburg, Florida and demanded identification papers from citizens waiting in line. The head of that Social Security office told news media he had no prior warning nor had any information on the reason for intrusion by DHS. When asked, DHS officers indicated it was a "preparedness exercise".

My next question is "for what?" This event closely follows the ignorance of our Congress in passing the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) despite warnings by Senators Rand Paul, Mike Lee and a few others that its wording as crafted by the Obama Administration (and with which military leaders stated they are uncomfortable) allows the Secretary of Defense (Panetta) in consultation with Secretary of State (Clinton) and the Director of National Intelligence (Clapper) to waive a U.S. citizen's constitutional right to protection by habeas corpus and posse comitatus-that is be held indefinitely without cause by the military without access to legal counsel-should the Administration consider them as a "threat to national security". So what is a 'threat to national security' as defined by the Obama Administration or any totalitarian regime? Could it include speech or protest against a tyrannical government?

The wording of the NDAA does not guarantee that U.S.citizens are exempt from being detained and deprived of their constitutional rights at the whim of a totalitarian government which does not like what citizens have to say or do within the confines of the Constitution. Moreover, the summary of this Act presented to many moribund members of Congress falsely states that the Act exempts U.S. citizens when that is not the case! What the Act does state is that the government is not required to detain a U.S. citizen in military custody, but that wording does not exclude an option for the Administration to force a waiver of a citizen's constitutional right to habeas corpus.

Should you want further information on this huge mistake by our Congress, provided by a former prosecutor and constitutional attorney writing for New Americans United for Freedom, please check out this link:

The President this past week violated the rule of law and appointed a head to the 'Consumer Financial Protection Bureau' and loaded three vacant seats on the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) with labor union empathizers, calling them 'recess appointments' when Congress is not officially in recess. This was simply another step by Obama to usurp the authority of Congress and destroy the balance of powers guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution for his own selfish motives-specifically to strengthen the power of labor unions, to further encroach on the right of companies to hire nonunion employees, and to lock in more union votes for Obama in 2012.

Just how long will many Americans sit by and remain uneducated, apathetic or just plain dumb when it comes to the dictatorial Obama Administration trampling our Bill of Rights, the Constitution and the rule of law? Will it take relatives being hauled off to prison without charges or the right to an attorney, or even charges against citizens for speaking out against tyranny? Wake up and send this message out to everyone you know. Don't count on the Left-wing media who purposely ignore the treasonous crimes of this Administration and concentrate on superfluous diversions from underlying reality. The ONLY exception is FOX Business Channel which many of you do not receive if you have basic cable service. Either check with your local cable provider or check out the web for Freedom Watch hosted by Judge Andrew Napolitiano if you don't get Fox Business on your TV and keep up with what is really going on as it affects all of us.
Get the facts.
