Dude Wins Lamborghini and Crashes It Same Day
By Robert Paul Reyes
"A Utah man who won a $380,000 Lamborghini Murcielago in a contest said he crashed the car about 6 hours after taking the keys.
David Dopp of Santaquin was announced as the winner of the Maverick gas station's 'Joe Schmo to Lambo' contest during halftime of the Brigham Young University football game Nov. 12." UPI
David Dopp may be lucky, but he isn't the sharpest knife in the cabinet. A person who has no experience driving a Lamborghini should never have taken it for a spin when there was black ice on the ground.
A "Joe Schmo" doesn't have the money to maintain a luxury car, Dopp should never have gotten behind the wheel. Any person with a modicum of commonsense would have immediately sold the $300,000 vehicle.
Dopp said the car is in a body shop. "That's what insurance is for, he said. A millionaire can afford to be cavalier about wrecking a Lamborghini, a "Joe Schmo" can't. Dude, wake up and smell the coffee, sell the damn thing and buy a Jeep Cherokee.
