Dec. 10: Collins Entertainment Corp. to Auction With Super Auctions and JK Auctioneers

Beginning at 10:00 a.m. in Greenville, S.C.: After 50 Years, a jukebox & a pinball, it's, "Sell It All, Regardless of Price"

Super Auctions and JK Auctioneers have today announced they will be conducting a live auction on behalf of Collins Entertainment Corp. What began with a jukebox in the 1940s lead to a jukebox and a pinball machine and, from there, the rest became history.

Fred J. Collins, Jr. and the history behind the Collins company's empire had been published in a local book, "Historic Greenville, The Story of Greenville & Greenville County."

After more than 50 years Collins has sold its amusement machine route operations and all of Collins' coin-operated amusement machines will be sold in a one-day live, on-site auction. Items will include hundreds of iconic skill pinballs, video games, pool tables, pinball machines, and kiddie rides - nearly 800 items will be sold to the highest bidder, regardless of price.

The auction comes just in time for Christmas. Pinball fans will thrill to favorites such as Indiana Jones, Corvette, Harley Davidson and Theater of Magic. Video game fans will flock to Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, Golden Tee and - what started it all - jukeboxes.
