NEW YORK, Dec. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Scholastic Corporation (NASDAQ:SCHL) announced the following schedule and teleconference information for its second quarter fiscal year 2012 earnings release:

    --  Archived Webcast and Audio Replay: The archived webcast and accompanying
        slides will be available on the Company's website shortly after the
        completion of the live call.  An audio-only replay of the call will be
        available toll-free at (855) 859-2056 or, for international calls, at
        (404) 537-3406 and by entering access code 28788527.  The recording will
        be available through Monday, January 31, 2012.
    --  Conference Call: Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 8:30 AM (Eastern) hosted
        by Richard Robinson, Chairman, President and CEO; and Maureen O'Connell,
        Executive Vice President, CAO and CFO.  To participate in the conference
