Medicalis Appoints Jim Boyle as Chief Operating Officer and Guy Anthony as Chief Financial Officer

Healthcare Industry veterans Jim Boyle and Guy Anthony have joined Medicalis, a leading developer of radiology workflow solutions for the next generation in productivity, utilization, and quality. Boyle, who has more than 30 years of related experience in the information technology service industry, joins Medicalis as its new Chief Operating Officer, and Anthony, with over 20 years of successful IT and startup experience, joins Medicalis as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Before joining Medicalis, Boyle served as Chief Operating Officer for Stentor, a world leader in medical image and information management. Before joining Stentor, he served as a senior level executive at Perot Systems, where he developed and delivered critical innovative data solution services. While at Perot, Boyle was also on special assignment serving as Chief Executive Officer for Siemens Business Services in Munich, Germany, a $600 million company that grew into a $2 billion per year company. Prior to this, Boyle was a senior level executive at Electronic Distribution Services, the leading global services company, where he managed successful application software initiatives for the North American healthcare industry.

Prior to joining Medicalis, Anthony served as CFO at Solaicx, a venture-funded solar materials startup that was acquired by MEMC Electronic Materials. Before this, Anthony was CFO at Quellan, a venture-funded analog semiconductor startup that was acquired by Intersil. Prior to this, Anthony was CFO at Stentor. He held a number of senior financial management positions during his 22-year career at Intel. During the 1990s, Anthony held key positions as Group Controller for Microprocessors and Assistant Treasurer for Intel Capital. During the 1980s, he gained broad financial management experience in manufacturing and sales in locations ranging from Albuquerque to Hong Kong.
