C Spire Wireless Kicks off the Holiday Season with Free Android Smartphone Event

The LG Ignite is a sleek, lightweight and ultra-slim, top-of-the-line Android touchscreen smartphone with a 4-inch display while the Sony Xperia Play is the world's first PlayStation certified smartphone that combines a PlayStation quality gaming experience with the latest Android smartphone technology.

Activation, a $36 value, also is free until December 15 with a new two-year contract. The Samsung Galaxy S , Motorola Milestone X , Samsung Admire , LG Optimus II and Samsung Gem smartphones all offer the latest in Android touchscreen technology, access to the best Android apps and a fully integrated entertainment, messaging and social networking experience. Plus with the availability of C Spire's Scout, customers will have a personalized app experience, with the latest app recommendations sent to them on their new Android device, based on their unique needs and interests.

In addition to the free Android devices, the company is also introducing five new devices just in time for the holiday gift-giving season. The Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, the world's first PlayStation certified smartphone, will be available online and in all C Spire retail locations beginning on December 7. This gamers' dream device, which combines a PlayStation-quality gaming experience with the latest Android smartphone technology, is available for $49.99 (with a new two-year contract) and features seven popular game titles pre-loaded on the device and access to four more free popular titles via download. Starting this week, LG Optimus II , which is free, and the LG Ignite , which costs $99.99 with a new two-year contract, are available online and in all C Spire's retail locations. The two new LG devices are full-featured Android-powered touchscreen smartphone devices.

Productivity, Performance and Reliability with BlackBerry and Sonim

C Spire is introducing two new advanced wireless devices next month during the holiday shopping season - the BlackBerry Bold 9930 Touch smartphone and the Sonim XP3400 Armor - for mobile workers and service Industry professionals who focus on productivity, performance and reliability. Both devices will be available in early to mid-December online and in all retail stores.

The BlackBerry Bold 9930 Touch smartphone is the thinnest BlackBerry yet at only 10.5mm and is the first BlackBerry Bold to integrate a touch display with a BlackBerry keyboard. The device, which features a .5 mm thick scratch and shock resistant Corning Gorilla glass lens on a 2 inch high resolution display, will be available for $99.99 with a new two-year contract.
