Mom Calls Cops, Son Growing Marijuana Plants in His Room
By Robert Paul Reyes
"Authorities in Florida said an 18-year-old was arrested after his mother called deputies and asked them to remove marijuana plants from his bedroom.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office said deputies were dispatched to the Parrish home Monday evening and Zachary Kirlangitis, 18, arrived at the house during the investigation." -The UPI
Zachary may be an adult, but he is still living with his mother and he shouldn't disrespect her by growing marijuana plants in his bedroom.
Zachary should move into his own place, and then he can grow marijuana without putting his mother at risk of being arrested for having a controlled substance in her house.
Mom did the right thing by calling The Man to remove the marijuana plants from her son's bedroom. While the son is in jail, she should put all his belongings out on the street, change the locks, and let him fend for himself.
Zachary was arrested for possessing marijuana with intent to sell. Let's hope that Zachary's short stint in jail will persuade him to find a legal way to earn a living.
