hhgregg to Open at Midnight on Black Friday
INDIANAPOLIS - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Indianapolis-based appliance and electronics leader hhgregg (NYSE:HGG)
announced today that it will have extended store hours from midnight to
9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25th , and from 9:00 a.m. to
10:00 p.m. on Saturday November 26th to kick off the holiday
shopping season. The extended store hours are intended to be more
convenient for customers to start shopping for the hottest technology
gifts of the season.
"We are grateful to our dedicated employees for supporting the decision
to open early on Black Friday," said Dennis May, president and chief
executive officer at hhgregg. "We are a very family-focused company, and
we understand that our extended store hours place a burden on employees.
However, we are staffing our stores strategically on Black Friday, and
throughout the holiday season, to ensure that all of our employees have
adequate time with their families."
hhgregg will announce its Black Friday doorbuster specials on Monday,
November 14th. To reward its online community for their loyalty, the
specials will be posted at midnight to hhgregg's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/hhgregg
