New Book Takes Readers From Vietnam War to Jerusalem, 33 A.D.

Tony Scott Macauley, an ordained minister and former U.S. Army Ranger, tackles faith, war and the second coming of Christ in a dramatic new novel, "A Dream Before Dying" (www.adreambeforedying.com).
His novel follows a young U.S. Army chaplain to Vietnam in 1967. Vincent J. Christopher, however, doesn't realize that on his 21st birthday, he was chosen for initiation into an elite force of God, the Immortal Keepers. These chosen are men who remained faithful to God in their previous lives and were returned to Earth to once again grow from boys to men before learning their new commission: to find and protect God's elect and prepare them for the battle that will precede the return of Christ.
In "A Dream Before Dying," Christopher and his squad are caught up in the battles in Vietnam, but whenever he can, the young chaplain tries to teach his men about the second coming of Christ. Each lesson, though, triggers a dream that whisks him and the squad from the war to Jerusalem in 33 A.D.
