Prison Minister Marty Angelo Responds to Dr. Conrad Murray's Guilty Verdict

Controversial Prison Minister Marty Angelo blames Michael Jackson's death on both Jackson and Murray

The old saying goes, "Two wrongs never make a right" certainly pertains to the recent guilty verdict brought down on Dr. Conrad Murray who administered the deadly drug Propofol to singer, Michael Jackson. The defrocked doctor was handcuffed in court and taken away to the Los Angeles County Jail to await his sentence on Nov. 29, 2011 for involuntary manslaughter.

Angelo issued the following statement:

What happened to Michael Jackson was certainly a tragedy. It is shame that it all came down to blaming the doctor for Jackson's death. I can see where he made his mistakes but let's remember just who demanded the drug in the first place.

Michael Jackson was a known substance abuser for years. His life revolved around the ups and downs of his next fix and his next hit. His family knew of his troubles yet allowed him to continue in his addiction for years... only to try one failed intervention.

There is a Bible verse that really sums up what happened to both Jackson and Murray... which is Galatians 6:7 - "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap." There is a street saying that is quite similar: "You play.. you pay." The Piper always gets his due.

No one is immune to the consequences of substance abuse. To the rich and famous they can be administered their deadly doses in the comfort of their own bedrooms or a down-and-out addict can sit in Needle Park in New York City on a filthy bench to abuse drugs. However, the consequences remain the same which are prison, hospitalization or death. It is unfortunate for Jackson that his consequence was death. With all of his fame and fortune he thought he was protecting himself by hiding away in a rented Beverly Hills mansion thinking he could pay a doctor to justify his addiction and not have to pay a price.

It is too bad Dr. Conrad Murray fell victim and got trapped into Michael Jackson's addictive personality. The strange thing is if it wasn't Dr. Murray it would have been some other foolish doctor who would have gotten sucked into the phony Hollywood celebrities' glitz of thinking they are above the laws of both God and man.
