Conference and Expo will focus on "Space and Cyber: New Challenges, New Opportunities"

FAIRFAX, Va., Nov. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Cyber and Space Symposium, "Space and Cyber: New Challenges, New Opportunities", will be held at the CenturyLink Center Omaha November 15-17, 2011. Co-sponsored by USSTRATCOM and AFCEA International, the symposium will offer space and cyber security professionals an unparalleled opportunity for education, interactive discussion and exposure to the latest technologies.

This event combines the highly successful Cyber and Space Symposia and will provide an exciting venue for information exchange among leaders in cyber and space. This Symposium will delve into tough issues while fostering innovation and collaboration between the private sector and government. Sessions will include perspectives of senior Department of Defense, U.S. and allied government, industry, and academia speakers.

The exposition will include defense contractors and government agencies showcasing the latest products and solutions for space situational awareness, satellite communications, network security, global information grid, and other cyber and space-related challenges.

The USSTRATCOM Cyber and Space Symposium is the event for large corporations, small businesses, military and government personnel and university faculty and students to dialogue about key cyber and space challenges and solutions.
