Scottish Woman Passes Driving Test While in Labor
By Robert Paul Reyes
"A Scottish woman who took her driving exam while in labor said she passed the test and drove herself to the hospital to give birth.
Emma French, 20, of Livingston said her water broke about 4 a.m. on Aug. 30 and she decided to take the 8:40 a.m. driving exam when the baby did not immediately come." UPI
Like any young person, Emma French, was desperate to get her driver's license. I remember when I was 17, I was so anxious to get my license that I would have taken the test with a broken wrist and a fractured foot.
I'm not too surprised Emma took the test in her condition, women are excellent at multitasking. Emma was probably dealing with contractions, taking the driving test and playing Farmville on her Smartphone.
Emma didn't tell her driving examiner that she was having contractions, for fear that he would have driven her to a hospital instead of testing her driving skills.
Emma is thrilled about passing the test and having a new baby girl, she's probably driving right now with her baby safely secured in the back seat.
