USIS Awarded Multi-Year Contract by the Office of Personnel Management to Conduct Background Investigative Fieldwork Services
FALLS CHURCH, Va. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - US
Investigations Services, LLC (USIS), the largest commercial provider
of background investigation services for the federal government and an Altegrity
company, was recently awarded a multi-year contract by the U.S. Office
of Personnel Management (OPM) to conduct background investigative
fieldwork services for government agencies. The estimated total value of
the contract is approximately $2.45 billion over five years.
Under terms of the multi-year contract, USIS will continue conducting
and completing background investigations for the federal government in
all 50 states and U.S. territories. The expected start date of the
contract is Dec. 1, 2011.
