Hastings Entertainment to Host Midnight Release Parties for Inheritance and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
AMARILLO, Texas, Oct. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hastings Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAST), a leading multimedia entertainment superstore retailer, has announced its plans for chain-wide Midnight release parties for the book Inheritance by Christopher Paolini and the video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Fans are encouraged to join their local Hastings for a Midnight release party on Monday, November, 7 2011. Festivities for the night will begin at 9:00 P.M. local time and will end after the book and game go on sale at Midnight.
Fans enjoying the festivities and awaiting the release of the book and game will be able to take advantage of special promotions during the release party including 50% off select Blu-rays and 30% off all used books, CDs, video games and video game accessories. Customers are also encouraged to take advantage of an extended happy hour in Hardback Coffee Cafe stores and 49ยข fountain drinks in participating stores. Inheritance will be on sale at the Midnight release party for $18.99. Customers who purchase Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 at the party will be eligible to purchase a camo headset for $9.99, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for the Microsoft XBOX 360 or Sony Playstation 3 for $14.99, Game Capture by Roxio for $39.99, and will also receive $5 off the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 strategy guide.
