The best show yesterday wasn't on your plasma large screen TV or at your local movie theatre. Mother Nature has the best show in the universe, and it's free. Her special effects make those employed in Hollywood blockbusters look like a child holding a sparkler.
We are so myopic, so concerned with our petty problems that we don't take time to consider and marvel at nature's majesty. I'm glad that I was able to pull myself from the foolishness on the boob tube, and witness the majesty of the Northern Lights.
The heavenly spectacle left everyone, believer and agnostic with a sense of awe and wonder. It was difficult to return to the mundane activities of my daily life after watching the Aurora light show.
