Tampa Bay Storm Raises Money for Firemen's Charity
The Tampa Bay community will gather at Skyway Park Field to watch as the 5 Time AFL Champion Tampa Bay Storm takes on the Tampa Bay Sentinels in a flag football game to raise money for the Firemen's Charity.
Last year they raised over $1500.00 for the Curtis /Kocab Memorial Fund and this year they expect to do the same and more for the Firemen's Charity.
The Firemen's Charity helps the families of Fire Fighters who were hurt or killed in the line of duty; helping them cope through a tough emotional and economic time.
The Tampa Bay Sentinels are comprised of some of Tampa Bay's best Policemen, Firemen and Military Men who come together to play flag football for worthy causes.
Their opponent is well known throughout the nation as one of the best AFL Football teams in the country. The Tampa Bay Storm has won 5 World Championships and 5 division titles over the teams 20 year history in Tampa Bay.
This family orientated event will not only provide spectators an amazing game, but you will get to see your favorite Tampa Bay Storm football players and those who protect and serve us each day in a whole new perspective.
During the half time show Tampa Bay Storm players and some NFL players will be on hand to meet and greet fans and sign autographs.
Tampa Bay Sentinel star Jim Gaczewski thanked Brian Blair and Eclectic Media for their continued assistance in getting the Event schedule out, and hopes that others will also pass the word along in support of our "First Responders"; "all help is appreciated" Gaczewski said.
Tickets are $7.00 and all proceeds benefit the Firemen's Charity.
