Rainbow Harbor Welcomes 43rd Annual Long Beach Yacht & Boat Show
LONG BEACH, Calif. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - For 43 years, the Long Beach Yacht and Boat Show has been delighting
visitors who enjoy being on the water. This show is in a new location at
Rainbow Harbor, adjacent to the Aquarium of the Pacific. Featured are
boats of all sizes, as well as beautiful pre-owned vessels at affordable
prices. Also featured are nationally-renowned companies that will
showcase marine electronics, hardware, safety equipment and insurance.
Special financing options are available. Boating and fishing enthusiasts
will find out what boating is all about from knowledgeable experts in
the boating and yachting industries, and be able to board a variety of
in-water vessels. Visitors are within easy walking distance to a vast
array of shops and fine restaurants offering special Boat Show
discounts. Parking is available at Shoreline Village Marina.
This show is produced by the Southern California Marine Association
(SCMA) and is presented by the Auto Club of Southern California-the
official watercraft insurance provider of SCMA with additional support
from the California Department of Boating and Waterways.
WHEN: October 20-23, 2011
LOCATION: Rainbow Harbor, next to Aquarium of the Pacific, The
Pike and steps from Shoreline Village.

Amateur Dog Show: Saturday @ 4pm. Variety of categories, handlers of
all ages can bring out their dogs to the Boat Show to enter for a

Debut of the restoration of the 1938 Akin Yawl

Opportunity to meet Abby Sunderland and hear the courageous story of
how she attempted to become the youngest person to ever sail solo
around the world. Abby will be at the show all four days and will be
