Bob Hope USO Car Show to Benefit The Troops
The Bob Hope USO at LAX will host "Operation Wheels and Warriors" car show on Saturday October 15 to help raise funds and awareness for the 100,000 troops and their families who use the services of the local USO Centers each year.
The event will be sponsored by and held at the Farmers Insurance "University of Farmers" complex at 30801 Agoura Road in Agoura Hills, CA. Open to the public from 10 AM to 4 PM, visitors will be able to inspect: a matched pair of 1937 boat-tailed Rolls-Royce Speedsters, a 1918 Fiat Roadster, the only 1953 Rolls-Royce sports car in the world, cars and trucks from TV's "Operation Repo", Lamborghinis and other exotics, American Muscle Cars, classics, celebrity cars and more! There will also be an assortment of military vehicles on display for kids and adults alike to sit in and pose with.
Popular Los Angeles radio personality Gary Bryan, of the K-EARTH101 Morning Show will host entertainment that will begin at 10 AM with a brief formal military ceremony by the Joint Service Color Guard. Ronnie North's musical trio will perform as will comic/rap artist Lou Pizarro of "Operation Repo" along with other singers, dancers and comedians throughout the day.
"Operation Wheels and Warriors" is looking for additional show cars - both Pre and Post War vehicles of all types. The car show and USO Entertainment are open to the public free of charge. Complimentary parking will be available.
