Boycott American Airlines Until Jack is Found and Returned!
Comment on story Jack The Cat Lost At JFK Airport Becomes Internet Star
Truly Jack has captured the hearts of millions around the world. What sets this story apart from so many lost animal stories is everyday we hear of homeless animals being rescued and some finding homes. Jack has a home and is loved very much. He was lost by a multinational heartless corporation that sees furry family members as suitcases and couldn't care less if they become lost.
It does bother me that as I read this excerpt in Newsblaze I am left to wonder at the state of mind of the author. Is he truly so vain that he is jealous of media attention given to Jack the Cat? That fact is not so distasteful as it is disturbing.
But all that aside, Jack is a symbol of how large corporations place profits ahead of the value of life itself. It's true that is a human passenger is injured or killed on an airplane or on the ground as a result of actions from the airline, they pay just as much worthless lip service as they are right now to Jack. They offer empty meaningless condolences in the case of death, their noses get longer as they lie and say they are doing everything they can, when in reality all they care about is their stock prices. The loss of death of an animal normally has a negligible effect on stock prices. In the case of Jack, the negative publicity is out of control and the spin doctors hired by AMR, American Airline's parent, to control the fallout are failing in their attempts to make this matter go away.
Right now we have the worst economy in the history of this nation, and Jack is just one of a number of symbols of the hatred common people have developed for the filthy rich and the soul-less corporations growing their bank accounts at the expense of common taxpayers in the form of government subsidies.
I have spoken to corporate officers of AMR myself regarding this matter and I tell you the truth that they are some of the nastiest folks with whom I've ever had the displeasure of speaking.
There is a petition to boycott American Airlines with more signatures every hour. Boycott American Airlines until Jack is found and returned home! Here's a thought: Jack has no official news outlet and has thousands and thousands of people waiting and watching for more news.
If the author would be up for the task, he'd be sure to become a household name overnight. Just a thought... I would promote him of course and make sure he was given every detail of the story as it happens. As I said, it's just a thought; and idea.
I hope the author will take a moment if he reads this email and will take a look at Jack's petition. And I'm sure the author will have just as many followers as Jack one day if he really works hard and takes the right course of action. [hint]
