Is Israel Ready to Give Up Its Identity for Arab-Palestinians' Empty Promises?

'Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and there is no certainty about the former!'
After reading Ari Bussel's article, 'September Barbeque of Jews,' I had to express myself, or choose to explode. I chose to write.

First Israel, unilaterally, gave up on Gaza, expelled 8,000 Jews, to have made homeless, and destroyed an industry that brought in revenue in the millions of Dollars, and in return she has made one million Israeli, living in the Gaza range, a live target to the Gazans' happy rocketeers and their lethal rockets.

Now and next, Israel will sacrifice on the same foolish altar, Judea and Samaria, and part of Jerusalem to become a state called "Palestine" that will become a second rocket launcher, to the east of the State of Israel, like Gaza to her south.

And with Jerusalem on the same altar - Also God!
It appears that Israelis are ready to give up their very identity, every right they have and soon, they will give up on their very being too.

As much as the Israelis are not determined, the Palestinians are very determined, and with them, the family of nations has already decided to accept them as equal, a nation among all other nations.

Israel, and that is the Government, as a whole, the Foreign Ministry and all the citizens are too busy debating the merits and possible courses of action. The favorite choice is, as all too often and so typical, inaction.

There is a small bit of meaningless fanfare, but overall they are simply doing nothing of substance. Severing ties, annexing Judea and Samaria, expelling non-citizens or other needed measures are not even considered and are readily dismissed as extreme-right-wing-fanatical ideas, option that will never be exercised.

Until Israelis feel pogroms once again. At first, these would be dismissed too, for the immediate defenders are those "Settlers" in the "Occupied West Bank."

It has already happened, not too long, in the community Itamar; but that was "just" one family, on one Friday night, when two young Arab-"Palestinian" males entered the Fogel's home and slaughtered the young couple and three of their kids, the youngest, three months old. Israel cared not respond in harsh measures, to make the world know that this will not be tolerated, NEVER AGAIN will it happen. And with a "Palestine" in their midst, the Itamar murder will be the sample of what Israelis are to expect.

The Arab-"Palestinians" do all they can to harm Israel and Israel, relentlessly, comes for more. They refuse to recognize Israel for what she is, the one and only national home of the Jewish People, and what Israel does, she calls them to come and talk about peace with her. How can you have peace with an entity that does not recognize you for who and what you are?

They boycott and burn Israeli goods and also boycott services, but Israel, stubbornly, continues to supply it to them. Their rhetoric, incitement and actions are crystal clear and unambiguous, but Israel refuses to do what is necessary for her own survival.

So when the question is asked: Why did Israel do nothing? Or, why does Israel continue so stubbornly to ignore all the signs, the answer is obvious: "Never Again" is a slogan that since the Holocaust, for some seven decades, sounded good, but the distance of time and space has removed Israelis from the true intention behind that promise. Thus, it is bound to happen again, this time not on European soil, but in the Land of Israel.
