OBJE Offers Sneak Peek at New Accessories on Facebook

Produced in collaboration with renowned Italian fashion distributor and manufacturer ArtModa Florence, the new collection of leather and metal belts, chains and bracelets will officially debut next week at WWDMAGIC in Las Vegas. OBJE's Facebook fans, however, can now take a sneak peek at the luxurious accoutrements.

"We literally had our Italian manufacturer, ArtModa, work around the clock to finish our belts and chains in time for our launch at WWDMAGIC," said OBJE Lead Designer Rachel Stark-Cappelli. "Their factory in Italy, which normally closes for holidays in August, stayed open an extra three days to put the finishing touches on the accessories. I used mostly metal for the belts with small leather touches, and our new chain belts look just as beautiful as a necklace."

"I had our manufacturer wash the leathers to give each piece a softer, more vintage look to compliment the elegance of the metal parts," she added.

Each new belt, chain and bracelet is custom-made to accentuate Stark-Cappelli's denim designs. Obscene Jeans feature metallic mesh woven into top-shelf fabric to create eye-popping fashions intended to turn heads. The new accessories line will give each radical new pair of jeans the perfect touch of class, the designer said.

"Many of the accent pieces feature a metal charm engraved with our signature 'O,'" Stark-Cappelli said. "I'm most excited about the metal chains we've had made. They're designed to hang on the hip, and they're the ideal accessory to make our sexy black, stretch Super Skinny jeans ready for an elegant evening out."
