Arizona American Water helping others 'Dress for Success'

PHOENIX - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Arizona American Water will facilitate a clothing drive for the nonprofit "Dress for Success" clothing drive August 8th-19th, 2011.

Dress for Success is an annual campaign that brings companies together with nonprofits throughout North America to provide low-income job seekers with interview-appropriate and work-appropriate clothing.

"This year's 'Dress for Success' is more important than ever given the state of our economy, which has created an ultra-competitive job seeking environment," said Arizona American Water President Paul Townsley. "We want to enable those who are hard-working, and just need a little help acquiring some professional attire. I'm proud that our employees have decided to chip in and provide what we can to help those who are less fortunate."

During the drive, Arizona American Water will be collecting new or nearly new women's and men's suits, blouses and shirts, shoes and accessories including handbags and jewelry. The Dress for Success campaign is a good example of a community service project supporting American Water's AmerICANs in Action Month campaign.
