LOS ANGELES, Aug. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The chairing panel of the NetDiligence® West Coast Cyber Risk & Privacy Liability Forum comprises individuals from organizations that play leading roles in identifying, preventing and mitigating the risks associated with cyber security and mishandling of private information, said Tom Hagy, CEO of HB Litigation Conferences, co-producer of the forum.

They will guide the presentations and discussions of more than 30 experts and thought leaders on this important topic.

"The recent 'NetDiligence® Cyber Claims' study, based on insurance industry policy settlements for data breach events, put an average cost at about $2.4 million per event," said Mark Greisiger, President of NetDiligence®, a leading cyber risk assessment company serving the cyber liability insurance industry, and co-producer of the program. "Cyber security mishaps, including the mishandling and use of private data, are among the top often devastating threats impacting companies, individuals, governments and other organizations today," said Greisiger.
