Quepasa to Travel to Mexico City to Award Employment Contracts in the "Job of Your Dreams" Contest

Two Candidates Will Be Selected and Given $100,000 USD Jobs at Quepasa Corporation

Social media technology company, Quepasa Corporation (NYSE Amex: QPSA), owner of popular Latino online social network Quepasa.com, announced today that the company will be traveling to Mexico City on August 16 to interview the top 10 finalists in the "Job of Your Dreams" contest. The top 150 viral entries in the contest will each receive $2,000 USD and two lucky finalists will each win a one-year employment contract with Quepasa valued at $100,000 USD. In the end, Quepasa will have awarded $500,000 USD in prizes.

The "Job of Your Dreams" campaign was the most successful contest in the company's history. The contest was open to U.S. and Mexican residents and generated close to 50mm engagements and thousands of entries. Quepasa asked entrants to 'Tell us why you want to win the Job of Your Dreams at Quepasa?' Contestants were then directed to share their entry across the social web and earn points towards the grand prize by generating views, votes and comments to their entry.

At the conclusion of the contest, Quepasa gathered the top 152 viral entries and conducted interviews with candidates to generate its top 10 finalists. On August 16, 2011 representatives from Quepasa will visit Mexico City and conduct final round interviews and award the grand prize employment contracts to two lucky finalists.
