The Blame Game and The National Debt
The blame game and the national debt. We have our national credit rating drop from AAA to AA, whatever that means. There have been numerous letters and columns blaming the Tea Party and Republicans in general.
Credit scores are based on ability to pay and history of paying. Institutions loaning money look at ability to pay. How much income versus how many obligations there are against the income.
The United States has more money going out than coming in. It is as simple as that, not rocket science. It is a matter of simple arithmetic. At this point it doesn't matter who is at fault.
We must cut spending.
