After debuting as one of BET Network's highest rated films in 2010, SOMEBODY HELP ME 2 will be available on DVD on August 16, 2011 from Vivendi Entertainment. This suspenseful thriller features Omarion Grandberry (Somebody Help Me, "America's Next Dance Crew," "You Got Served" Malika Haqq ("Keeping up with the Kardashians," "Khloe and Lamar") and Chrissy Stokes.
The heart-pounding drama intensifies in what has become a camp classic for lovers of the urban horror genre. Marques Houston (Somebody Help Me, You Got Served, Fat Albert) stars as a desperate man that must find a way to rescue his loved ones from the torturous clutches of a madman bent on bringing his victims to the breaking point.
Writer and director Chris Stokes (You Got Served, House Party 4, Somebody Help Me) ratchets up the fear factor with unexpected twists and mysterious turns that keep you guessing until the spine tingling conclusion.
Synopsis:
It's been one year since the horrifying events at the cabin in the woods, and Brendan (Marques Houston) and Darryl (Omari Grandberry) have tried to move on with their lives. But as the anniversary of that tragic weekend draws closer, Brendan is haunted by disturbing nightmares that feel all too real. When his wife and niece go missing one night, he realizes the terror has indeed returned. This time, though, the horror is twice as intense as he must save those he loves most, as well as himself, from a demented madman who wants nothing more than to torture and kill them all.
