Couple Offer $500 For Return Of Bongo A Beanie Baby Monkey
By Robert Paul Reyes
"A New York couple are offering a $500 reward for the return of the stuffed toy monkey they have thought of as a 'child' for 10 years.
Jack Zinzi, 58, and Bonni Marcus, 47, said they think Bongo, an 8-inch-tall Beanie Baby Zinzi bought as a gift for Marcus 10 years ago, fell out of Zinzi's pocket about 7 p.m. Sunday while they were on their way to the El Viejo Yayo restaurant." UPI
Zinzi said he and his girlfriend love to stand up the beanie baby monkey and make it dance and come alive. This would be a heartwarming and cute story if Zinzi and Marcus were 8 and 7, instead of 58 and 47.
This middle-aged couple is too old to adopt a human child, but they should adopt a dog or a cat. After one week with a cute kitten or an adorable puppy, they would probably flush Bongo down the toilet if they find it. The crazy couple should spend $400 on one session with a psychiatrist, and spend the rest on adoption fees for a pet.
I hope Bongo was found by an 8-year-old girl who will gave it to her dog as a chew toy.
