Life Insurance Settlement Association Releases Fall Conference Program

The Life Insurance Settlement Association (LISA) has released the agenda for its 17th Annual Life Settlement Conference and announces its life settlement investor workshop. This year's event is taking place in Atlanta, GA on October 3-5, 2011 at the Ritz Carlton-Buckhead.

"We have raised the bar! If you think LISA's fall conference is only for life settlement brokers and providers, think again. This conference will cover topics of particular interest to investors looking to enter or increase their knowledge in this asset class," says Darwin Bayston, LISA's executive director. The event features timely conference sessions set to bring a new depth of knowledge to investors and life settlement professionals. Qualified institutional investors will receive one complimentary registration to attend this premier event.

The Fall Life Settlement Conference will kick-start with a conference workshop for investors on Monday, October 3rd, followed by the industry's largest networking event. General sessions will start on Tuesday, covering topics such as the life settlement market depth, pricing life settlement risk, and capital markets outlook, among others. The last day of the conference will feature an investor discussion, lessons on life settlement portfolios, and life expectancy issues. For a full list of topics and times, please visit the conference website at www.thevoiceoftheindustry.com/conference.

The conference provides a perspective particularly suitable to long-term institutional investors. It will be particularly beneficial to public and private pension fund sponsors, endowment and foundation sponsors, private equity investors, hedge fund sponsors, mutual fund managers, wealth fund managers and family office investors.

In addition to the Fall Conference, on October 3, 2011, LISA is hosting the 2011 Life Settlement Compliance Conference. The Compliance Conference is the only forum dedicated to the education of the life settlement industry's regulatory and compliance personnel. Experts will discuss a wide range of topics that currently affect the life settlement industry.

Attendees will earn CE and CLE credits. Qualified state regulators and staff are invited to attend at no registration cost. A special discount is available for registrants attending both events.

Interested parties can view the full agenda and register for all events by visiting LISA's website at www.thevoiceoftheindustry.com or by calling LISA at 407-894-3797.

LISA is the premier life settlement association, representing over 80 percent of all life settlement business licensees. LISA members hold over 750 provider life settlement licenses nationwide.
