PageRage Announces First Facebook Layouts Contest with Grand Prize of Xbox 360 with Kinect

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PageRage, the first web application that allows Facebook users to place graphic Facebook layouts over their existing profile, and the most popular way to personalize Facebook in the world, is running their first Facebook layouts contest.

To enter, PageRage users must create and submit their own original Facebook layouts to be judged by the online community. The PageRage user with the most votes on their layout will win the grand prize of an Xbox 360 with Kinect and a video game package (game will depend on gender). Second and third place winners will receive gift cards from Amazon.com.

In order to participate in the contest, entrants must install PageRage and create a layout of their own using the all new PageRage Create Your Own Layout (CYOL) tool. After they have created their layout, they will need to save the image to their desktop and submit the image of their layout through the contest app (available on the PageRage.com homepage banner).

The contest began last Friday, July 29, to coincide with the launch of PageRage's new CYOL tool. The new CYOL tool now includes the ability to add more than one image to each side panel of the Facebook layout; a new clip art library full of fun images for layouts; and editing tools that allow users to rotate images, scale images, reflect images, layer images, add transparency, and more.

Entries in the contest already span a diverse range of themes, from Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber to hearts and pixies to seasonal layouts. Contest participants have until August 26 to get as many votes as possible for their Facebook layout design.
