Rose talks with reporter Dalia Colón about his rare medical condition known as EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) which is a rare, often misdiagnosed condition that can be fatal depending on the type you have.

EDS is a collagen mutation that causes hyper extensive joints, paralysis and muscle weakness with patients suffering from the ailment. There is no cure for EDS, just painful treatments.

Rose who has battled EDS all his life lost the use of his voice and both arms at the age of 12, but managed to regain the use of both a year later.

In the article Rose tells his about his hardships in school caused by the disease, and his rise to the top when he started his career as a Professional Wrestling Ring Announcer, a career that almost never happened had he not regained his voice.

Despite the outcome, Rose's story takes on a positive light as he battled the debilitating effects of his ailment to own his own National PR Company, be chosen as one of three Ring Announcers on EA Sports MMA Video Game, and still continues to pursue the career he loves as a Professional Ring Announcer.

"This disease is often misdiagnosed, so this opportunity to tell about it with Healthy State is another way to educate the community about EDS, and show through example you can overcome anything if you put your mind to it" says Rose.
