AECOM Announces Appointment of Marshall Davert as Executive Vice President for Water in the Americas
LOS ANGELES - (BUSINESS WIRE) - AECOM Technology Corporation, a leading provider of professional
technical and management support services for government and commercial
clients around the world, announced a key appointment today as the
company continues to grow its business domestically and globally.
Marshall Davert joined the company on Aug. 1, 2011, as executive vice
president, responsible for the Water business line in the Americas. In
this role, Davert oversees the performance, strategic direction and
growth of AECOM's Water business in all areas, including water,
wastewater, water resources and community infrastructure in the
Americas. He will be based in AECOM's Dallas office.

Davert has more than 25 years of experience in major global water
projects involving multiple political and institutional stakeholders,
including planning, design, construction, implementation and management.
His most recent position was with MWH, an international water consulting
and construction services firm, where he filled key roles in the
successful implementation of many MWH projects. While based in Sydney,
Australia, Davert was president of the company's Asia-Pacific division
and was responsible for an operating group that consisted of 1,500 staff
members with revenues of US$175 million.
In addition to being a registered Professional Engineer, Davert has a
bachelor's of science in applied mathematics from San Diego State
University and both a master's of science and Ph.D. from the University
of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in civil engineering. Davert has also
completed the Harvard Business School General Manager Program. He has
been involved with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE); the
American Geophysical Union (AGU); and was one of the founding directors
of CalWater, a political action committee advocating for legislative and
financial support of critical water resources projects throughout
California.
