Catholic Charities / Aetna Golf Classic Raises $130,000

More than 100 golfers and guests participated in the event, which was held June 13 at the Shorehaven Club in Norwalk and staffed by volunteers from Catholic Charities and Aetna (NYSE: AET).

"Aetna was proud to be the title sponsor of this golf event for the sixth consecutive year, and we are extending our commitment to next year as well," said Brad Morse, Aetna vice president of sales and service for New England. "We are proud to team up with Catholic Charities in support of its great programs in Fairfield County, including their network of soup kitchens and food pantries and the Room To Grow preschool."

"Catholic Charities is proud to continue its work as the largest private provider of social and human services helping needy individuals, families and children here in Fairfield County.
