Highline Technical Innovations, Inc. Executive Retires; Replacement Sought

FARMINGTON, Ark., Aug. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Officials at Highline Technical Innovations, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HLNT) announced that HTI Chief Financial Officer Mel Robinson is retiring effective Aug. 1, 2011. Harold Zeller of Jacksonville, Ark., who has 35 years of experience in virtually all aspects of the financial industry, will serve as interim CFO until a permanent replacement can be found. Robinson's health has been in decline. He is 62.

The chief financial officer is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a company. HTI chief executive officer Charlton Coats anticipates filling the job within 60-90 days.

"Finding the right person for the job is extremely important as HTI moves forward with increased production and sales of the Wildcat Hydrogen Booster," Coats said. The booster is a supplemental fuel system that increases fuel efficiency in internal combustion engines, both diesel and gas, in cars, boats, tractor-trailer rigs and agriculture and industrial equipment. It's made by an HTI subsidiary, Highline Hydrogen Hybrid Inc.

The new CFO should be able to project the long-term financial picture of the company; how the company thrives will likely be based on his or her analyses.

Harold Zeller, the interim CFO, brings a wealth of financial experience to the position, even if on a temporary basis. Before retiring in October of last year, he worked 17 years for Florida-based Fidelity Information Systems, the largest banking data processor in the world. His most recent positions with FIS were as business analyst and consultant. He has experience in all lending and deposit functions within the banking industry.

HTI is testing the system on a number of over-the-road vehicles for a global company with a massive fleet, Coats said. He is not yet ready to discuss details but said the potential customer is pleased so far with the increased mileage per gallon of fuel and reduction of emissions from carbon and other toxic gasses.
