National Bank to Collect Donations for the Victims of the Horn of Africa Drought

National Bank (TSX:NA) will collect donations to the Canadian Red Cross from August 5 to September 16, 2011 to support the organization's relief efforts for the victims of the drought in Africa.

The public is invited to make a donation at any National Bank branch in Canada. Cheques should be made out to the "Canadian Red Cross, Horn of Africa Drought". The Canadian Red Cross will issue tax receipts for all donations of $10 and more. All donations made at National Bank branches will be sent to the Canadian Red Cross and will be used to provide immediate relief to the victims.

National Bank MasterCard cardholders may, if they wish, exchange their A la carte reward points, free of charge, for a cash donation to the Canadian Red Cross by visiting www.nbcrewards.ca or calling 514-847-8280 or 1-800-341-8083. Donations made between August 5 and September 16, 2011 will all be dedicated to this cause.
