Expedia Affiliate Network powers Globe-Trotter Travel International Hotel Bookings
BELLEVUE, Wash., Aug. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Expedia® Affiliate Network (EAN), a division within the Expedia, Inc. group dedicated to private label partnerships, today announced an agreement to power online hotel bookings for Globe-Trotter T&E, a Tokyo based media company. Following the agreement, visitors to the Globe-Trotter website (hotel.arukikata.com) will now be able to book hotels from the almost 140,000 properties worldwide that Expedia offers, using EAN's new state of the art hotel booking platform, Chameleon(TM).
"This partnership combines the rich content of the number one selling travel guide books in Japan with EAN's global hotel inventory, creating a great user experience for shoppers, meeting various customer needs and providing hotels at great rates," says Globe-Trotter T&E.

From global chains to guest houses across 30,000 destinations, visitors will be able to search and book hotels at competitive prices on Globe-Trotter Travel International Hotels. Members with Globe-Trotter co-branded credit cards will be able to use a 5% coupon on the site.
