Curriculum Advantage Names Dr. Stanley DeJarnett Chief Academic Officer
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Curriculum
Advantage Inc., developer of the award-winning Classworks
comprehensive instructional improvement system for kindergarten through

including numerous leadership positions with national and state level
associations involved in driving policy and planning of public education
programs.
Most recently, DeJarnett was superintendent of Morgan County Schools, a
K-12 school district based in Madison, Ga. As Curriculum Advantage's

challenges they face, including implementation of the new Common
Core State Standards.
A former member of the American Association of School Administrators
(AASA), DeJarnett just completed a two-year term on AASA's National

project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to follow high
school graduates' performance in college.
"With all the pressures and demands schools encounter every day, they
need to know that the instructional solution they select is backed by an
organization that truly understands their needs. Stan's accomplishments
as a K-12 administrator demonstrate that he not only understands the
challenges, but knows how to overcome them," said Lindsey Cook, CEO of
Curriculum Advantage. "Creating this position, and hiring someone of
Stan's caliber, will no doubt advance our position as a leader in
helping schools provide targeted, individualized instruction to help
every student achieve success."
DeJarnett's education experience includes several classroom and building
leadership positions in Illinois and Georgia, as well as a curriculum
consulting position with the Georgia Department of Education. He joined
