GolTV Kicks off the 2011-2012 German Bundesliga Season Coverage on August 5

MIAMI - (BUSINESS WIRE) - GolTV, the nation's only independent bilingual channel delivering the most sought-after international futbal, kicks off the 2011-2012 German Bundesliga season with HD coverage of Borussia Dortmund vs. Hamburg on Friday Aug. 5 at 2:30 p.m. ET. All season long, GolTV will deliver coverage of the 18 teams in the German premiere league with live matches every weekend and replays throughout the week. The all-soccer network will also deliver exclusive live coverage of the match between VfB Stuttgart and FC Schalke 04 team on Aug. 6 at 9:30 a.m. ET.

GolTV has held TV rights to the German league since 2006, and it has consistently been one of the channel's top performers delivering strong year-over-year ratings. Bundesliga hosts some of the world's most popular soccer stars, such as Thomas Muller, Mario Gomez, Claudio Pizarro, Michael Bradley, Diego, Grafiter, Paolo Guerrero, Lucas Barrios and Frank Ribery.

Beginning with a preview show on Aug. 5, GolTV will telecast its original series Bundesliga Magazine every Thursday at 9:30 p.m. ET. The show offers in-depth analysis from GolTV's team of soccer experts on what to anticipate each Bundesliga match weekend, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at fans' favorite clubs. Viewers can also catch Hallo Bundesliga on Mondays at 8:30 p.m. ET as the all-soccer network recaps the weekend with the best goals and match highlights.
