U.S. Olympic Committee, Brand Acceleration, LLC. Sign Partnership Agreement
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - The U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC) announced today that it has signed an
agreement with Brand Acceleration (BA) to create marketing programs
utilizing their patented in-lid and packaging technologies. Through the
terms of this agreement, BA will create several integrated marketing and
promotional programs in an effort to drive awareness and partner
activation in support of U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes.

"Brand Acceleration's technology and strategy will further the
development of innovative corporate sponsorship and licensing programs
that can deliver more options for activation to the USOC's family of
corporate partners," said Lisa Baird, USOC chief marketing officer. "As
we mark the one-year out milestone to the London 2012 Olympic Games we
are continually looking to expand consumer engagement while driving
reach and awareness among supporters of Team USA."
BA is set to launch a patented platform for reaching and engaging
consumers through the delivery of promotional items on the tops of
beverages and packaged goods. In-lid delivery enables easy retail
distribution for premiums including coupons, booklets, collectibles, 3d
premiums, CDs and DVDs, decoders, cards, toys and more.
"Brand Acceleration technology captures the consumer's attention at
retail, on the top of a beverage or packaged goods container, and it
then engages the consumer through integration with text, mobile,
computer, Internet and social media experiences," said John Lyons,

According to BA, in-lid programs have driven beverage sales in excess of
15 percent and delivered consumer conversion on program offers
associated with in-lid programs as high as 33 percent.
