DALLAS, Aug. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Professional Services LLC, a subsidiary of Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), has been named a 2011 "Top 20 Content Development Company" by TrainingIndustry.com. This is the first of what is intended to be an annual list designed to help organizations in their search for the best training partner.

"The companies recognized on the Top 20 Content Development Companies list represent the best in the industry," said Ken Taylor, chief operating officer of Training Industry, Inc. "Leading training outsourcing companies like RPS were selected for the quality, innovation and impact of their training programs."

Companies must meet specific criteria to be eligible for a Top 20 position. The criteria include:

-- Capability to develop a broad set of custom training programs across
        many modalities.
-- Subject matter expertise across topic and industry.
-- Industry visibility, innovation and impact.
-- Company size and growth potential.
    -- Strength of clients.
    -- Geographic reach.

Earlier this year, RPS was named the No.1 learning outsourcing provider, for the third consecutive year, in HRO Today magazine's "Baker's Dozen in Learning." In May, RPS, in partnership with Midas International, received an "Excellence in Practice" award from ASTD (American Society for Training and Development), one of 16 training and development-related awards out of 182 submissions. Training Industry, Inc. also named RPS as a "Top 20 Training Outsourcing Provider" in April. More information is available about the RPS training awards.
