MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Kohl's Department Stores (NYSE: KSS) is helping customers take a stand against breast cancer with FILA SPORT athletic merchandise designed exclusively by Kohl's for the Kohl's Cares cause merchandise program. Available now through the end of October, Kohl's encourages customers to exercise in style with athletic offerings from FILA Sport. The apparel and accessories can be found in all 40 Wisconsin Kohl's stores and online at www.Kohls.com, with 100 percent of the net profit donated to support the fight against breast cancer.

The exclusive collection from FILA SPORT includes fashionable yet functional athletic apparel and accessories for men and women, available for just $5 or $10 each. All merchandise, from workout gear including tops, shorts, sports bras and socks to accessories such as hats, watches, water bottles and more, shows support in various shades of pink, white, and gray. In Wisconsin Kohl's stores, the breast cancer cause merchandise has its own center aisle display where all items are located in one spot to make it easy for customers to support the cause. To view the entire collection or to purchase these items online, visit www.Kohls.com.

"We are thrilled to add the FILA SPORT athletic merchandise to the Kohl's Cares offerings, especially during Breast Cancer Awareness Month," said Julie Gardner, Kohl's executive vice president and chief marketing officer. "We hope the stylish athletic gear will not only encourage people to stay healthy and exercise but also join together to support women's health by participating in local breast cancer walks and runs."

Launched at Kohl's in September 2010 and available year-round, 100 percent of the net profit from this cause merchandise program supports the fight against breast cancer. Kohl's also supports women's health with a commitment of $7 million over three years to the American Cancer Society's Midwest Division and the Southeast Wisconsin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure to support breast cancer research, education and patient-assistance programs.

The women's health initiative builds upon Kohl's long history of charitable involvement in the communities it serves. Since 2000, Kohl's and the Kohl's Cares program have combined to give approximately $38 million to support charitable initiatives in the metro-Milwaukee area. Also, over the past 10 years, the company's Kohl's Cares cause merchandise program, which sells plush toys and books, has raised more than $180 million to benefit children's health and education initiatives nationwide.
